ABC – Overview and locality
The ABC Project is in northwest Côte d’Ivoire, approximately 550km northwest of Abidjan and 460km west of the company’s Doropo project.
This is a greenfield exploration project, consisting of three permits, covering a highly prospective area of 1,143km2 along the underexplored contact zone between the Archean and Birimian cratons. This contact is demarcated by the north-south trending Sassandra Fault system, which is more than 20km wide.
Exploration to date has delineated a north-south trending gold-mineralised corridor – the Lolosso Gold Corridor – over a 30km strike length within the Kona permit.
