  • Implement an integrated incident notification and reporting system to include community incidents
  • Implementation of community management standards on :
    1. Land use management
    2. Stakeholder engagement
    3. Land acquisition
    4. Social investment
    5. Cultural heritage and sacred sites
    6. Indigenous Peoples
    7. Artisanal mining
    8. Grievance and complaints
    9. Closure and rehabilitation
  • Continue the development and roll out of additional management standards and guidelines, as required.
  • Address key opportunities and risks identified by the 2008 climate change study.
  • Review closure planning practices during 2009.
