AngloGold Ashanti has entered the STRATE (Share Transactions Totally Electronic) environment for the trading of shares on the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa. In terms of STRATE, no shares may be traded in South Africa, unless such shares have been dematerialised. AngloGold Ashanti operates an Issuer-sponsored nominee programme which is administered by Computershare Custodial Services Limited which will hold and administer the shares at no cost to the shareholder.
